How do I make my own 10-inch ventilation ductwork?
10-inch ventilation is available online at Home Depot or Amazon, but it’s much harder to come by than a five-inch duct. In fact, what you might find lying around your house is likely five-inch duct. To make a 10-inch duct, all you need to do is combine the two five-inch pieces and secure the edges with aluminum tape.

What size ductwork do I need for my range hood?
If your range hood is 1200 CFM or higher, you’ll want at least 10” ductwork.
