Proline's online chat was a great assist in ordering the correct range hood light replacements. Ordering and receiving was quick and easy. Installation was easy, put a flat board onto your stove, and sit on it with your back to the wall. One suggestion for Proline is to include a couple of wiring anchors with the lamps. I found 3 of them loose, allowing the wiring loom to hang down on the air filter.

The only problem, was had to remove the fans to install the top of the chimney. You need to reengineer to have the treads on the fan housing and not on the chimney extensions.
Other than that it was an easy process hanging the hood!!

When my 16 year old Proline range hood started to malfunction intermittently, I decided to see if I could get the same model. I was pleased that the PLGW 129 SC was very much like the old one making it easier to install. Using the same venting, we were able to in stall in a few hours. I love the range hood and it is quieter and the lighting is better than the old one. Customer service was fantastic with all of my questions and helping me order. Great job and thanks Proline for great products.
replacement part arrived in timely fashion, but was not needed as was able to repair and install original vent piece , damaged during construction.

Very well made with powerful blowers. 3-year warranty is a plus too. My only negative is that the lights are on/off only. It would have been perfect with high/low light settings. Very happy with my purchase. FYI: This takes two people to install because it’s so heavy (That’s a good thing!)
They should have a removal access panel for direct wiring. We had to cut the plug off to connect to the power since there is no outlet near the range hood.

Proline repaired two of my hood grease baffles, where the latches that hold them in place had become gummed up. Fast, free repair service! I've been very, very happy with my Proline outdoor grill hood and with their after-sales support.

I ordered this hood for my kitchen reno and upon arrival the box was intact with no shipping issues to note. A little over a week later I unpacked it to ready it for installation and although the unit was everything I wanted and would have been a great addition to my kitchen I found some shipping damage. A call to customer support to report the issue, they requested some photos of the damage and a short time later sent me a prepaid return label.
No offers for a discount to keep it, just straight forward good business!
Unfortunately due to timing I could not wait for a replacement but WILL do business with this company again in the future.

Great Unit. Instructions on install of filters is confusing, I still dont know if I got it right. Workmanship is well done. Operation is easy. looks terrific with our Viking stove.

Purchased hood years ago and was concerned a replacement light might not be available when we recently damaged one of its lights. But customer service had the part we needed and promptly sent the replacement. It works well . -
Wonderful product. So far works amazing vent out. My only critic is the instructions suck haha, but your customer service is top notch so it makes up for it.
