Ductless/Recirculating Option
While Proline does not offer fully ductless range hoods, many of our models can become ductless with an accessory. For under-cabinet range hoods, you'll need to purchase a recirculating kit. This kit includes a 5-inch-tall box (12 inches deep and matching the width of your hood, up to 48 inches) that allows the air to recirculate back into your kitchen. It also contains charcoal filters to clean the air.

For some wall-mounted and island hoods, the setup is even simpler—just add charcoal filters to the ducting, and you're all set for a ductless configuration.

Under-cabinet range hoods are typically installed beneath kitchen cabinets and do not inherently include a chimney component. However, for kitchens with higher ceilings or specific design preferences, chimney extensions can be added to extend the range hood's structure upward, creating a continuous line to the ceiling. This not only enhances the kitchen's aesthetic appeal by providing a sleek, integrated look but also conceals ductwork, offering a cleaner appearance.
