Proper installation of your Proline outdoor BBQ range hood's filtration system ensures optimal performance. This guide walks through the essential steps for installing both the grease tray and baffle filters.
Watch our quick installation video above for a visual demonstration, or follow our detailed written instructions below.
Grease Tray Installation
The grease tray installation begins at the hood's underside front section. Position the tray from below, aligning the teeth that will connect to the hood's frame. Apply gentle pressure until you feel a snug fit - you'll hear an audible click as the teeth properly engage with the frame.
Spacer Installation
For outdoor BBQ series hoods equipped with spacers:
- Locate the middle section of the hood
- Insert one edge of the spacer
- Pivot back until it sits in position
- Slide the spacer completely to the end - full extension is crucial for proper fit
- Repeat for the second spacer on the opposite side
Baffle Filter Installation
The hood features two rows of baffle filters, requiring slightly different installation approaches:
Back Row:
- Find the middle section
- Insert filter partially
- Push back to create needed space
- Slide into final position
Front Row:
- Reverse the approach used for back row
- Insert through middle section
- Push back slightly
- Slide sideways into place
