The PLJW 109 wall range hood is easy to use. Check out the video below to learn how to operate your PLJW 109.
Note: In the video, we have dimmable Halogen lights in the 109. But it comes with LED lights.
The main control panel is under the front of the range hood. The button on the left with the sun icon turns the lights on and off.
The second button from the left decreases the blower speed, and the third one from the left increases the blower speed. The 109 has four speeds ranging from 400 CFM to 1000 CFM. 400 CFM is our super-quiet mode, which runs at just 2.8 sones. Q stands for quiet, and the speeds increase as you go from left to right.
Super-quiet: 400 CFM
Low: 600 CFM
Medium: 800 CFM
High: 1000 CFM
The button on the right side is the power. Press the power button twice to turn the hood on and off.The PLJW 109 also has an auto-shutoff feature. First, select a fan speed, then press the power button within five seconds. You’ll see lights flashing on the control panel. The blower will now shut off in three minutes. The PLJW 109 also has heat lamp sockets in the back of the hood. You can install heat lamps in these sockets or put LED lights in for additional lighting. To turn the back lights on and off, use the black switch in the front corner of the range hood.
